To add an additional drive you had to add another cable screw the second drive into an open place in the bay. No wonder most people didn’t even try to do it themselves.
All that is history … old school … today all you need to do is buy a USB external hard disk, plug it in, install drivers if necessary and you are ready to go. I use one to keep all of the files that I use at work so I have them no matter where I am.
